George W. Vie III has practiced law for over 30 years, focusing on appellate advocacy and complex civil litigation. Board Certified in Civil Appellate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1995, George handles matters including appellate litigation, insurance coverage disputes, commercial arbitration, governmental and municipal law, and federal civil rights claims.

Based in Houston, George practices throughout Texas, including in Galveston, Austin, Dallas, and federal courts across the state. He has presented arguments before the Supreme Court of Texas, multiple Texas courts of appeals, and Federal Circuit Courts, including en banc proceedings. His experience includes many appeals, statutory interpretation cases, mandamus and original proceedings, and work on Texas Open Beaches Act litigation.
